Fun and non-Christmas silliness

In July, thirty-nine Hubbers got together to enjoy Christmas in July at The Greens in North Sydney. Christmas food, silly hats, even sillier jokes and a few drinks made it a jolly night for all. Social get-togethers are a wonderful way to get to know each other, and this one was no exception. The consensus was that we would organise this event again next year!

There is more to come. Check out the Events below if you would like to come to a social event and meet some people you haven't met during your regular Hub activities. 

Please note that we have moved the date of the Hub's Annual General Meeting to September. We hope that many Hubbers will come along, and we look forward to meeting you then.

As we move into a new year for the Hub, we are seeking new members for the Hub Board and individuals to help run the organisation.

The Hub needs:
* an assistant database manager.
* an assistant webmaster
* an e-newsletter editor
* a choirmaster

August Men's Dinner August 20th 6.00pm

This is a wonderful opportunity for men from the Hub to meet others and make connections in the local community. Ladies are not invited. 

The venue is the local restaurant, Le Coq and fish. It is necessary to register as numbers are limited. Men are welcome to bring friends who are not members of the Hub as this is a chance for them to find out more about the Hub and what it has to offer.

It is pay your own way and you can BYO wine. 

Members need to register so that the restaurant has numbers.

Meet with other women from the Hub at Le Coq and Fish. Enjoy a leisurely lunch, wine list available

Limited a la carte menu including vegetarian and gluten free options - and dessert. A 2 course menu will be available for $50.

On Tuesday September 16th, the Hub will hold the Annual General Meeting at
The Coal Loader, 2 Balls Head Drive, Waverton at 2 pm.

You will receive an email inviting you to AGM with links to the Annual Reports - you will find them in the Library on the app and the website. There is also a link to a nomination for the Board. Several Board members have retired this year so we are looking for new members. This is your opportunity to find out what the Hub has been doing in the past year - and to consider how you might contribute.
After the meeting, join other members and the Board for light refreshments. If you plan to attend please register

The Waverton Hub app is another way to renew your membership and to  find out what is happening. The tiger icon (picture on left) is what to look for in the App store.

On the right is what the App looks like on Carol's iphone. The app will look very similar on your phone and you will be able to keep in touch with the Hub wherever you are.
