5th May 2025
It is not uncommon to think that Domestic Violence does not impact you, that you don't need to pay attention to this increasing social issue. Dr. Mandy Ellis, who has extensive experience working the Family Court of Australia will address this complex and growing issue.

Domestic violence (DV) is a problem for all Australians. Many think it does not impact them and that they don't need to pay attention to what is an  increasingly problematic social issue.

Domestic violence, also referred to as intimate partner violence, or family violence, occurs in many forms. It is important to understand the nature of DV, its prevalence and impacts so that we can all become part of the solution.

DV impacts individuals, families, communities, social service agencies and policing. It affects businesses as well.

Dr Mandy Ellis has a Doctorate in Educational and Developmental Psychology, a Masters in School Psychology and a BSc in Psychology and has extensive experience in working with the Family Court of Australia as a Child Expert.
