Work is starting on the transformation of derelict waterfront land in Waverton into safe, green open space for the community.

There will be temporary access changes for pedestrians until the parkland reopens to the public.
Locations with changed access include:

From 7am Monday 7 July - the foreshore pathway (between Balls Head Road cul-de-sac and Carradah Park)
-
From 7am Tuesday 8 July - Council Beach area (from Balls Head Road to the south of the former Woodley’s Boatyard)
There are no access changes to the Coal Loader, Balls Head Reserve (including former Quarantine Depot) or Carradah Park, Waverton.
