We're thrilled to announce our next speaker, Ray (Ramon) Rees, Director of the Sydney Heritage Fleet (SHF), part of the Sydney Maritime Museum!

The Sydney Heritage Fleet is a true treasure, dedicated to preserving and operating some of Australia's most iconic historic vessels. Ray will take us behind the scenes, focusing on the history and operations of the SHF and the incredible ships within their fleet.

You'll learn about working vessels like the majestic square-rigged barque James Craig, the sturdy tug Waratah, and the elegant steam launch Lady Hopetoun. Ray will also share updates on their ambitious projects, including the major restoration currently underway on the beloved old Sydney Harbour ferry, Kanangra.
