Tech Talk for Android Users: Wed 25 March

20th March 2026
Ever feel like your Mobile Phone is one step ahead of you? You’re not alone — and help is on the way. This practical, no-jargon session focusing on Android mobiles is all about everyday tech problems and simple fixes you can actually remember.

We’re delighted to welcome Sue Waters, a highly experienced community presenter who has been helping older Australians navigate their Android (Samsung, Nokia and Google) phones and technology for over 30 years. Sue has generously offered to run this session free of charge for 15 members of The Waverton Hub community.

Sue currently provides technology support for the older community in Rozelle and other Inner West areas.

Sue will begin with a 30-minute introductory overview covering useful tips for getting more out of your phone and everyday technology.

Following the presentation, Sue will offer short one-on-one help sessions (10–15 minutes each) for people who need assistance with specific questions or problems. To allow enough time for individual help, appointments will be limited to 15 participants

Participants are encouraged to bring a pen and paper so they can note down important steps or tips to remember later.

This is a wonderful opportunity to ask questions, learn practical skills, and gain confidence using your device.

YOU NEED TO REGISTER FOR THIS SESSION. WE CAN ONLY ACCEPT ONE REGISTRATION PER BOOKING. TO DO THIS CLICK ON THE REGISTER HERE GREEN BAR.

The session will take place Wednesday 25 March at 1.30pm in Waverton Hall and will run for approximately two hours.
