Walk together, make a difference

Date: Sunday 25 October

Time: 8.15 am to lunchtime

Distance: 8.8 km

The annual 8.8km walk brings people of all ages together to walk through St Leonards, Wollstonecraft, Waverton and North Sydney before returning to St. Leonards.  You can walk as an individual, ask family, friends, and colleagues to support you, or rally a group of mates and co-workers to start a team.

The walk begins with check-in at St Leonards Park, followed by a free sausage sizzle at 8.15. It begins at 9.30

Funds raised through the walk will support Mary’s House Services to provide more specialised social work for victim-survivors staying at its refuge, as well as practical, therapeutic and wellbeing community programs for women at varying stages of their domestic and family violence journey.

Safety in our homes is a right. Safety in our community is non-negotiable.

Join the walk and help say no to domestic and family violence.
