Dear [[first name]],
There is so much happening at The Waverton Hub! While our exercise classes are popular, our community activities—like music, arts, and social groups—are the heart of what we do.
Because we no longer have a weekly newsletter, the best and only way to keep up-to-date is on the Waverton Hub website or the Waverton Hub app. Think of the website as your "daily newspaper"—it’s updated as news comes in!
Bookmark the website so it’s easy to find.
🔍 How to find your Hub News:
News Feed: Visit the News Page for articles and updates.
Events Calendar: Check the Events Calendar to see What’s On this week - for example, the annual Hub Picnic is coming up on Feb 4.
The App: Download the Member Jungle app (look for the tiger icon in Applications on your phone then search for Waverton Hub) to get Hub notifications about events and news delivered straight to your phone.
🎵 Member Spotlight: The HUM Singalong Group
Looking for a bit of informal fun and music? The HUM Singalong Group is one of our most vibrant activities, and they would love to see some new faces!
When: The first Thursday of every month.
Time: 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM.
Where: Function Room, Admiralty Place at Wondakiah, Gas Works Road, Wollstonecraft.
What to expect:
It’s a very informal and fun atmosphere where we take turns choosing songs from a list of approximately 50 tracks suggested by our own members. The group is a wonderful mix of singers, guitarists, ukulele players, and we even have a trumpet player join us on occasion!
Want to join the fun?
Please click here to email Nick Woodhams if you’d like to come along so we can plan for refreshments.
